The gift of a signed copy of Jerry Kustich’s latest book was most welcome. I read it last week and enjoyed his warm style of writing about his life as a fly fisher. That he happens to be one of the world’s most respected bamboo rod makers takes a back seat to his obvious love of fishing as a way of life. On the dust cover Ed Engle says, ‘Kustich is one of a vanishing breed of fly fishers. Fly fishing shapes his view of the world, it’s not just one of the things he does.’

This a hugely recommended read.
