Highland Lodge is a stillwater fly fishing venue in the Eastern Cape Highlands near the town of Molteno where a number of stocked lakes are very popular with fly fishers hunting trophy rainbow or brown trout. This selection of images from our most recent trip to this lovely place was submitted by Gerrit Redpath who has become a regular on our annual jaunts up to this part of the world – always, believe it or not, in July or August when the place is as cold as an ice chest. I have been fishing here since 2004 and have hardly missed a year when I didn’t make the pilgrimage!
