FROM ARTIST IN WOOD, STEPHEN BOSHOFF

 

The first prototype of a wood frame pack; at this stage with a 25 year old Karrimor sack. The intent is a dual pack in canvass, one for day trips, the other for over-night hikes. Rod straps to come. As light as aluminum, with heart added, and a bit of nostalgia.

Wheatley size, same weight, birds-eye maple. But, number 1 will probably be the last … The worst proposition ever … could have made a rod in the time it took me to get this far.
