AD MADDOX’S FLY FISHING ART
AD Maddox is a young American artist who paints lavish and creative fly fishing scenes. She also rides a Ducati, roaming the Wyoming countryside looking for the sort of material she can capture on canvas. She has featured in many issues of Gray’s Sporting Journal as well as American Angler and Wild on the Fly. She has also done work for Patagonia clothing.
AD’s clever use of juxtaposed complimentary colours and the liquid luminance she brings to her art make her work unmistakable. Someone said the other day that he thought she was the modern-day Van Gogh of fly fishing art.
