THE COLLECTOR’S EDITION OF HUNTING TROUT - SOLD OUT

The collector’s edition of Hunting Trout is limited to 50 copies only and will be available as from the end of next week. The book is being handmade in Cape Town by a highly respected bookbinder, Mr KW Borgelt, who started his business in the Mother City in 1984.

The collector’s issue is bound in blue bovine hide with silver lettering. The spine is rounded and back lined and the Adams dry fly logo I so often use is set in sliver foil at the base of the spine.

The book comes with its own slip case made of the highest quality blue buckram with rounded spines and leather trim.

What makes these 50 books unique is that I did a watercolour painting for the cover of each book. So no two books are alike. The size of the paintings is 8 by 12 cms and they are set into a shallow recess pressed into the leather of the outside front cover and then matt laminated for protection.
